Skin Booster is also known as 水光针, which means “Hydrating Glow Injections” in chinese! What Skin Booster do is quite literal to its name – to give your skin a boost of hydration and brightening. This is done through precise micro-injections of hyaluronic acid (HA) into the skin.

How does Skin Booster work?

Small deposits of hyaluronic acid begin to absorb and retain moisture for a long-lasting hydration, resulting in a brighter, plumper, supple and dewy skin. Skin Booster also help increase fibroblast activity under the skin for collagen production.
Skin Booster in the current market mostly consist of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) that is capable of holding 1000 times its molecular weight in water. Hyaluronic Acid has proven in studies to help in skin hydration, skin elasticity and stimulate collagen production, alongside with many other skin benefits.
How is Skin Booster treatment performed?
Skin Booster treatments are performed by using an injector device or manual injections. The method of administration depends on your skin condition.
With an injector device, the nozzle of the device is attached to a disposable needle to deliver the product just under the skin. The process will be repeated on the entire face or targeted areas. Injector device not suitable for Rejuran Healer or any cross-link hyaluronic acid Skin Booster such as Juvederm Volite as these are more viscous and such can block the injector device.
With manual injections, it reduces wastage from product leakage but can be slightly uncomfortable with possible swelling and bruising at the injection sites. Numbing cream is provided for patient comfort.
